  • Special Education Coaching & Advocacy

Navigating an Individual Education Plan (IEP) can feel confusing and emotional and you don’t have to do it alone.

We help families understand every element of their child’s IEP, prepare for meetings, and communicate effectively with the school team. Together, we clarify goals, ensure accommodations truly meet your child’s needs, and develop collaborative strategies that build trust with educators.

  • Course & Pathway Planning

Each student’s path is unique — and the right course choices can open (or close) doors for future opportunities.

We guide families through high school course selection, special education pathways, and transition planning for college, university, or workplace options. Our approach blends insider knowledge of the school system with a focus on your child’s strengths, interests, and long-term goals.

  • Elementary to High School Transitions

The jump to high school can be exciting and stressful. We help families navigate this transition with a plan that builds confidence and ensures continuity of support.

From understanding the high school systems to connecting with the right staff, we make sure your child starts high school feeling prepared and empowered.

  • Learning Support Strategies

Every child learns differently and sometimes small adjustments can make a big difference.

We provide personalized tools and strategies to help your child succeed academically while supporting emotional regulation and independence. Our coaching focuses on empowering both students and parents to better understand learning styles and create routines that work at home and school.

About Me

Hi, I'm Zach, an educational consultant, special education specialist, and lifelong advocate for student success.

For over a decade, I've worked with learners of all abilities, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I've had the privilege of working alongside families, students, and educators to create meaningful, individualized learning experiences. In my current role, I lead a team of Special Education Resource Teachers and support students through individualized programming, assessments, and collaborative planning with families and professionals.

My background in psychology, along with specialist qualifications in Special Education, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and mindfulness, has shaped a holistic approach to education—one that values every student's unique story and potential.

Beyond the classroom, I've facilitated grief support groups and mindfulness workshops for youth and adults through organizations such as Dr. Jay's Children's Grief Centre, Gilda's Club, and Camp Erin. These experiences have deepened my belief that empathy, connection, and well-being are at the heart of meaningful learning.

As an educational consultant, my goal is simple: to help students, families, and educators create inclusive learning environments where every learner can thrive academically, emotionally, and personally.

Every learner deserves a pathway to success that honours their individuality and potential..
